About Me
I am a senior attending California State University, Northridge, full-time to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. I received my Associate’s Degree in Art at San Joaquin Community College, where I was born originally from Stockton, California. I am a self-taught artist who, in her own time, created pencil illustrations and mixed-media works to explain my life and Chicana culture. My hard work earned the Dean’s List awards for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 at California State University, Northridge. When not working on academics, I’m currently working as a graphic designer for the non-profit organization, EmpoweredGirlhood, helping to empower young girls and women to be the best version of themselves mentally, emotionally & physically.
